The games are estimated to conclude at 8:30pm on Friday, 9:30pm on Saturday and 9pm on Sunday.

When is the last game each day?

Yes, pass outs will be permitted. Patrons will be subject to searches upon stadium re-entry.

Are there pass outs?

Allianz Stadium conditions of entry state that prams and strollers are only permitted in the stadium if they can be folded to fit under the patron’s seat and do not present a safety hazard to others.

Is there an area where luggage, prams and other large items can be stored?

On entry, all bags will be subject to the security screening process. To help avoid delays, it’s best to leave your bag at home. Food and non-alcoholic beverages may be brought into the stadium but cannot be stored in glass bottles, metal containers, aluminium cans or any other breakable containers and can be stored under your seat. Umbrellas are permitted but cannot be put up once seated.

What can and can’t be brought into the venue?

It’s a party! Be creative and show support for your team. It wouldn’t be Sydney 7s without the outrageous costumes. There’s no theme this year, so the possibilities are endless! Remember that costumes deemed to be offensive may not be permitted inside the stadium. This includes costumes that may offend from a religious, political, racial and/or sexual perspective.

What should I wear?

Tournament merchandise will be available throughout the event and will be sold from outlets located around the stadium.

What kind of merchandise will be available on the day?

A range of Merivale food and beverage outlets will be available throughout the venue including food vans outside the stadium.

What kind of food and beverage will be available inside the venue?

Yes! There will be plenty of family-friendly activities for the kids.

Is the HSBC Sydney 7s a family friendly event?

There may be opportunities at certain times throughout the day for patrons to get player autographs and pictures, however, there is no obligation for players to provide this opportunity.

Will there be an opportunity for patrons to meet players, get pictures and autographs?

Players from each team will do a “lap of honour” at the conclusion of their last game of the tournament to thank the fans. There is no formal opportunity for players to sign autographs or pose for pictures. Patrons are reminded to respect the players and remain behind the fence at all times.

Where and when can I buy tickets?

If I miss out on tickets, how can I watch?

We are anticipating a very high demand for tickets. Therefore, we recommend pre-purchasing tickets online to avoid disappointment. In the event that tickets are not sold out by event day, they will be available to purchase at the stadium via the dedicated ticket office.

Can I purchase tickets on the day?

Only children aged 3 or under will not require a ticket. The child must not take up a seat unless a ticket has been purchased by the patron.

How old must a child be before they need a ticket?

For your own experience and for the comfort of other patrons, you will be required to sit in your allocated seat. Any variations are subject to capacity and are at the discretion of the ushers and stadium staff on the day.
