Make sure you plan ahead to make travel as easy as possible. Here is a useful guide put together by Transport for NSW:
The HSBC Sydney 7s is a long weekend of scintillating Rugby Sevens. Make sure you don’t miss a minute by drinking responsibly, staying hydrated, and spending time out of the sun.
On Saturday 4 February, the Kippax Field will come alive as it plays host to the elimination rounds of the Women’s tournament from 10am.
Get up close and personal and witness the best teams in the world go head-to-head in the Cup Quarter Finals.
Entry to Kippax Field is free and there will be refreshments available, pitch side. It is an alcohol free zone.
The Classic Wallabies will play the Famous Fijians in an exhibition match on Sunday 5 February, kick off at 4.37pm
Some of your favourite faces from yesteryear will dust off their boots, loosen up their aging joints and go flat out for 15 mins in what will surely have the fans on their feet at Allianz Stadium.
The battle between the Captains alone will be mammoth as big Radike Samo who will captain Fiji takes on fellow Fijian Australian Lote Tuqiri who will lead the Classic Wallabies onto the field.
While some may have slowed up a little (Adam Freier and Stephen Hoiles mainly) they still have a passion for the game of Rugby and this game will showcase the comradery between two great Rugby playing nations.
The match is a wonderful initiative between the Classic Wallabies and the Famous Fijians with the match proudly supported by the HSBC Sydney 7s and the Australian Rugby Union.
